Who is this course not for?
If you don’t yet know how to read the Hebrew alphabet - or if you can read but haven’t started learning the language itself - this course isn’t the right fit yet.
But don’t worry - I’ve created a beginner course just for you.
You’ll find everything you need there.
Search for it on the website!

Yes, I know - six weeks might sound short.
Learning a substantial amount of Biblical Hebrew typically requires more time and effort.
But here in Israel, life can change fast, and I’ve been called up for reserve duty on short notice. That’s just the reality we live in.
Still, instead of canceling the course altogether, I chose to offer what I could.
By the end of these six weeks, you'll know how to analyze basic Hebrew verbs —
but more importantly, you’ll get the boost of energy and confidence you need to return to the beautiful language of the Bible.
Shalom, my name is Or Liber.
I’m a biblical Hebrew teacher from Israel and a PhD student in biblical studies. The Hebrew Bible and its language are the love of my life, and I’m here to share that love with anyone who cherishes the Bible but doesn’t yet have access to its original language.

Is your Hebrew Bible gathering dust?
Maybe you once studied Biblical Hebrew — and loved it. It was meaningful, even exciting.
However, the course ended, and life took over — work, family, and the daily to-do list.
And the Hebrew you once enjoyed slowly faded from your mind... and heart.
In six weeks, we’ll ease back into the engine of Biblical Hebrew - the verb system -
and bring your Hebrew back to life.

Course Syllabus
During the course, we will study the first 12 lessons of the workbook.
Below is the list of topics as they appear in the table of contents.
Each week, we will study one lesson and practice it together.
The linguistic content is the core of the course, but we will also enrich it with the depth of the Bible- after all, that’s why we’re here

Frequently Asked Questions
Absolutely! All lessons are recorded and will be available on the course website.
Yes- if you can read the Hebrew alphabet and have some basic background in Biblical Hebrew, this course is for you.
Each lesson lasts one hour, with an additional hour of preparation time suggested for each class.
The textbook must be purchased separately from the course. Please feel free to explore the most affordable option that suits you.
I do not recommend purchasing the digital version.
First, there’s no substitute for writing directly in a physical book.
Second, the digital version is not a PDF file and is not convenient to use.No worries! Please get in touch with me, and I’ll send you the first lesson of the course as a PDF file.
As for the following lessons, if needed, we’ll find a suitable solution together.Although there are many similarities between Biblical Hebrew and Modern Hebrew, we will focus only on Biblical Hebrew.
Attending the lessons without independent practice is possible, but not recommended.
There's no substitute for personal practice when learning a language.
To achieve meaningful results, it's highly recommended to work on your own as well and come to class prepared. Most of the course time will be dedicated to learning the original language of the Hebrew Bible.
However, we'll set aside a weekly segment to enrich the learning with insights related to the texts we've studied.
Full Guarantee for the First Two Weeks (First Four Lessons)
I offer a full guarantee for the first two weeks of the course.
If during that time you're not satisfied, or if something in your life changes and you’re unable to continue,
I will provide a full refund (minus the transaction fee).
